It's Almanzo weekend! The Alexander riders left at 5 this morning on a 380 mile route. I was originally slotted for this one, but just not ready. They started in the rain. That's tough.
My race starts tomorrow. I can't wait. I plan on riding hard and solid but not turn myself inside out and worry about position. I'm riding for fun and because I like it. I'll get back to the desire for a top ten finish but not this time. I'm really excited for the atmosphere. 1300 riders signed up. So about 900 will show up. That's still a lot. It's going to be crazy!
