Florida was fun and relaxing but I am more than happy to be back.
I want to get back at it.
Back to biking.
Back to eating "healthy".
Back to work.
Back to the routine of everyday life.
The weather in Florida was cooler than the past trips but still nice overall. We did many of the same things. Lots of eating, swimming, reading, building sand castles, laying in the sun, biking on cruisers, canoeing Tarpon Bay, Twins game, more eating, a couple of runs, lots of walking, and just being lazy.
With all that I am very ready to have my "routine" back.
I already got a couple 3 hour rides in. I was pleasantly surprised to see most of the snow gone! The roads are dirty but no longer icy or snowy.
I did eat a lot during vacation so I am also ready to get back on track with my eating. Today is my last day of "anything goes" so we are eating a late lunch at Bravo's! Then it's time to "clean" the body with salads and fruit.
I have been told work has been busy so I am excited for that too. Thanks again to the guys for making this vacation work!
We have kicked ass with doing laundry and getting our lives back in order. We actually have most of the suitcases unpacked! This usually takes us several weeks.
With daylight savings happening so early we start our Tuesday/Thursday Night rides this coming week! If the weather holds it's go time. I plan on jumping back on the commuting wagon soon as well. I hope to start this next weekend. With the selling of the Salsa Casserole I need to do some adjusting, etc. to the Bridgestone (my long time commuter). I just need to swap out rear wheels, new chain, and toss on a rear rack.
That's it for now...
Later.
