Out Cruising.

Yesterday was my only day to ride, ok besides Monday, due to the numerous events going on with the upcoming races this weekend. After depositing Brinna off at school I suited up and was out the door a bit before 8. I planned on doing about 3 hours of road and gravel.

The Dirt Bag Ride hasn't even happened yet nor are all the details finalized and I was out doing a bit of recon for next years ride. Should I?
Nope...I chickened out. This road is labeled as a "Dead End" but it goes through. A must for next year.
I ended up a few miles short of Princeton before I headed south. Meandered trough the Sherburne Wildlife Refuge (awesome), found another great, uninterupted, gravel road, and headed for home. I misjudged the distance and time to home. 3 hours turned into 4. I had errands to run, etc. Ended up about an hour late to work. Didn't get fired!
Today Mr. Anderson and I are going to lay out a course design for the cyclocross race on Sunday, if he gets up in time. Tonight from 4-7 at McCann's is the fundraiser event for the Mid Minnestoa Cycling Club...join us. Free beer and apps with a donation. Then back to work to organize the semi load of prizes for the races!
Out.
