Minnesotans have let me down. I knew Clark/Bachmann would be close so not surprised, but Jim Oberstar is out? WTF? Doesn't the 8th district realize how much he has done for them? Like it or not Jim has produced lots a projects (via pork barreling) in the region with his position on the transportation committee. Now we have a newbie that won't be able to do jack. I shake my head in disbelief. Jim was also a huge, I mean huge, advocate for biking as a means of transportation. He got MN lots of federal $$ for bike trails, etc. He will be missed.
It will be a somber ride today.

I hear you loud and clear Ben. I was shocked too. This whole TP thing really blows me away. Sounds like more years of complete political grid lock to me.

North Dakotans too don't understand political clout. We lost a Dem house seat that had been held for 18 years (30 years by the Dems). Can you say gridlock!
