2011

It's been 2011 for a few days now but my 2011 starts today. Weekends are no time to turn over a new leaf. I don't have "huge" resolutions or goals this time around, just more of the same.
With the Holiday season gone I can get back to my healthy eating plan. I haven't weighed since the holidays started but will step on the scale someday soon. Goal weight of 180 lbs still exists.

1.) Continue to ride and "race", but only if I "keep" it fun. Fun over performance.
2.) Family trips.
3.) Every year we do more "local" eating, grow a bigger garden, etc. Continue this and grow this.
4.) Be calm...or more calm!
5.) 180 lbs.

That's it.

Back to the riding bit of this blog.
Last week, as noted in previous posts, I got out on the Pugsley Tuesday and Wednesday for 3 hours 15 minutes both days, weird! Well during the rain storm on Thursday I said, "screw it" and went out for a ride. No Pugsley this time but the All City, single, studded, and fendered up. I wasn't sure on what I would do for time as I didn't know what to expect from rain in December. Guess what? I made it for 3 hours 15 minutes, crazy. I was pretty soaked all over but comfortable, minus the hands. They took awhile to come back around once home.
Friday was a bit up in the air as to what I could and would do. Jen had things in the morning and afternoon. I had a morning appointment. Pretty sure I could have snuck a ride in somewhere but that would have left the day a whirlwind. Opted not to ride and get some stuff around the house and ready ourselves for our annual New Year Party at the Zenzen's.
(As I was haphazardly proof reading this I remembered I did get to the gym on Friday and then a quick snowshoe at Plum Creek. Some ass hat decided Thursday was a good day to go for a hike without snowshoes and post hole a good chunk of the trail. Lots of hours down the drain. Pisser).
Saturday we headed up to Bemidji for our last Christmas celebration. While we got rain they got snow and a lot of it! Looks like fun, well not the shoveling part but the playing in it part.

Enough.

Later.
