Give him a head cold.
Ugh. That's me.
The cold I was battling to keep at bay since of few days before the Arrowhead 135 finally won with a one, two punch Thursday.
Saturday was a surprise birthday party for Mike. Tons of people I knew and I sat in a corner drinking diet Pepsi and water. I know, I'm crazy. My head was jammed full with snot. I was just struggling trying to keep it all in. So if anyone was trying to talk to me and I was a little out of it, I apologize now...it was the snot.
O.K moving on from the snot talk.
Since the Arrowhead I have been able to run once, lift once, elliptical once, ski twice, and yesterday bike for 3 hours. I have to say the body has recovered and the head cold is on the way out as well!
I plan on doing another week of "whatever" and then start up again with the more "formal" bike training the following week. The plan is to ride a bunch till we head to Florida the first week of March. Take that week off then back at it till a week or so before TransIowa in April. Man, it's going to go fast.
Got word that I got into the Dirty Benjamin, sweet! So June it taken care of. I think I have some type of event every month starting in April through October, minus March. March needs an event. Still looking.
Out.
