Friday I did get out in the morning for a ride. It seems like that was ages ago. I can't even really remember the route I took. Not too memorable I guess. I believe I ended with somewhere between 3 and 3.5 hours.
Work was crazy busy so Brian and I stayed late and finished the repairs. The chaos continued the next day. Eight hours of work flew by in a whirlwind of repairs, sales, test rides, and no time to sit down! I did get out for an hour trail run before work. I ran the North Loop mtb trails. They are about 95% void of snow but are pretty sloppy and deer poop covered. Depending on the upcoming weather we could be mountain biking in the near future!
Sunday, Mike and I, headed out for a ride. The expected rain never really came so we had a dry ride, minus all the worms. And it was hot! I had minimal clothing on, compared to weeks past, and I was still over dressed. It felt great! Taking customers out for test rides later in the day the temp had dropped a lot! The wind switched directions and turned a warm day into a cold fall like day. Ended with 2.5 hours.
For the week, I think, I ended with 14 hours of riding, plus whatever I did at the gym, etc. Two weeks till Trans Iowa V7. One more week of riding before I begin the taper thing.
Later.
