Rain Delay.

Well I guess I got my wish, no Tuesday ride. What I really wanted to do was mtb but even that got called. Rain Delay.
About mid afternoon I made the decision to not ride. It looked like rain and the weather channel was calling for rain too.
Decided it would be a good night to go to the movies with the girls. I gave them the option of Kung Fu Panda 2 or Judy Moody. Judy Moody got the nod. The girls loved it, Jen and I...not so much. We had about $70 in gift cards piled up to the Olive Garden so we went there first. We have a hard time paying $15 for a pasta dish that I could make at home cheaper and better. But it was all fun and a great evening.
As I climbed into the van at work to go with the family 4 riders struggled with the choice of to ride or not. Not sure what they decided but I felt somewhat guilty rolling away in a vehicle and not on bike. Not to mention the addition of 1000+ calories instead of the reduction of said 1000+ calories. Leaving the Olive Garden in a down pour I knew I made the right call!

After the movie they dropped me back off at work to pick up my car. Once inside the shop I decided to work on my bike a bit. Well I finally finished a bit past 11. The Salsa Selma Ti is now complete! Pictures soon. Now I really need to hit the dirt!

Mike and I work all day today since we have community ed classes tonight at the shop. So we hope to bust out for a few hour ride this afternoon. Fingers are crossed.
