Zip, Bang, Zoom...

Man summer days fly by. Can't believe it's already Friday.
What I've been doing:

Tuesday's group road ride was put on hold. Not because of the weather...this time. But one of the regulars father passed away. Made it over to pay my respects. Sometimes cycling is not all that important.

Wednesday morning I went out for a gravel ride. Pretty casual and just a bit over 3 hours. First time on the bike in 3 days. Felt really good.

Thursday morning I ran for an hour at the North Loop. Rumors of many down trees are no longer rumors but fact. Lots of clean up work required.
It was also Revolution Night at the River Bats game. We had a pretty good crew bike to the game, not as many as I hoped but good nonetheless. I can't get over how much fun it was and how much food there was! We will do it again next year!

Today I'm up early and hope to be riding by 5:45 for about 3 hours before work at 9. Busy day at the shop today. Get to preview 2012 Cannondale stuff, a couple team members are coming in for bike stuff, more repairs, give Brian shit for not coming to the game last night (he pulled a Lucas) etc, etc.

Tomorrow is the Granite Man Triathlon, Clearwater version. I was signed up for this race but am not too amped or ready so have given my entrance to another. Mike and I will still be out there providing tech support and cheering on the DuTri members. Should be a fun day.

Till next time...

Later.
