Thursday: mini tri at the gym. 1/2 hour elliptical, 1/2 hour run on the treadmill, 1/2 hour swim. I somewhat dread the swim, but once I get going it's not bad. I'm not very structured in what I'm doing. Figure it's more than I done in the past, so it should help some!
Friday: Met Tim at Rejuv for my first official workout. Spun on the trainer at home for an hour prior. Tim didn't have me doing anything crazy but really focusing on my "issues": balance and lower back pain. Only one time and I've learned a lot already. I think I'm really going to like this. It was non stop for an hour. Man I sweat a lot!
Saturday: I did it! Got out on the xc skis for the first, and most likely, the last time this season. I had a really good time. 1.5 hours at the Jail Trail System: North Loop, Orchard, and Baltos. Only crashed twice, nobody saw so all is good! I also worked Saturday. Man, people are bike crazy right now! Love it. Sold a Moots Pyschlo X to a customer! So excited for it to come in.
Sunday: Off from work. Real chilly morning, 0 degrees. Took the Pugs out. Cty Rd. 8 to 16 to Palmer. There I jumped on the snowmobile trails! Also a first this year, not counting the races. Absolute riot. Wish it was December. By the end of the ride it was nearing 30 degrees. The trail was getting increasingly softer. Had to let out more air from the tires...still a blast, just real slow. Ended with 5 hours.
Off to the 'ol gym this morning for some stretching and core. Need to work on my hamies!
