If Only...

Wish I could start everyday out with a ride, preferably like yesterday: sunny, minimal wind, and maybe a touch warmer. Just puts a guy in the right frame of mind to tackle the day.

Yesterday I did get a 3 hour ride in on the Salsa Fargo Ti. Yeah, yeah I know I say all the time, but I LOVE that bike!
I've been in the "rut" of riding the same routes lately. Only switching it up for wind direction. So I meandered a bit off course yesterday. No new roads, just tossed together in a different order. Not sure if it was that or that I had a million things running through my mind (all good stuff), the ride whizzed on by. One of those days I wish I could call up the shop and say I'm not coming in! Someday.

The past few days I've been stationed in the back shop doing repairs. I've been having a real good time, even with the barn bikes that haven't seen daylight since I was in diapers...lots of those this year. They tend to come out when gas prices sneak higher and higher.
Sometimes I wish I was just a mechanic again....then the 10th P.O.S. reminds me that it's nice to have other things to do! It's been a fun, busy, great time at the shop this Spring. Thanks.

Jen leaves today for state Knowledge Bowl, she's the coach. Her mom is going with in case Jen goes into labor and needs to be driven home. I guess it could really happen at anytime!
That means I'm on full kid detail the next couple of days. Not much for riding I'd guess. I have Saturday off and know there is a shop ride going on but rain is in the forecast. We need it, but wish it would wait till Sunday.

Good luck to those doing the Ragnorok this Saturday. Jealous, but I'll do it someday.
