Will It Ever Get Old?!

Another Awesome Night Gravel Ride last night.  Our last ride was two week ago today and got down to 44 degrees!  Last night was a about 40 degrees warmer at the start.  Six of us (Matt R., Matt V., Mark M., Josh F, Noah, and myself) rolled out of the shop in search of gravel and fun.

We tend to take a lot of the same roads when we leave from the shop.  Our options are somewhat limited by time and distance.  But it doesn't seem to matter.  Once dark hits the roads are all new.  My new favorite route is taking Franklin out of town towards Clearwater.  We hit it up behind the McStop area.  The start isn't exactly "legal" but the most fun.  Parts of Franklin are so sandy walking is necessary.  All part of the fun.
From here we did sections of the Dirtbag I.  When I ended back at home I had 3 hrs 40 min of fun in.  Perfect evening.

Work till noon today, so a short shift.  I have the kids a few hours solo this afternoon.  Thinking it may be a splash pad kind of day.  May hit up the North Loop for a lap or two this evening.

It's been a busy week, but a good week.
