Avery Did a Cannonball.

Yesterday morning I hit up the gym.  Honestly not doing too much there.  15-20 minute warm up on an elliptical machine, core, some upper body, lunges, shower, and work.  And damn, I'm sore today!  I always, somewhat, enjoy this soreness but at the same time it's amazing how fast we can lose our fitness at something if we don't continue to use those muscles!

I had a somewhat tentative plan to hit up Warner Lake after work for some cross practice.  But as the day progressed forward my desire (as is usual) wained with the setting sun...of something like that.  I got the kids from daycare and school.  Went to the grocery store, starting cooking dinner, and still didn't know what I was going to do.  Asked Brinna what I should do: go to swimming lessons with them or go biking?  She put is so plainly: "you just biked yesterday."  Well that was easy, swimming lessons it was.  Pretty proud how well Brinna and Avery swim.  I'm sure I have some favoritism but it sure looks like they are the strongest and smoothest out there.

Doing a double header today.  After I get all three kids where they need to be I'll jump on the Fargo for a 3 hour cruise.  After work a night MTB ride is planned at 8:30, meeting at the Loop.  Come on out if so inclined.

Thursday I have off from work but have Harper all day.  My first time running solo with her!  Plan is to do all the piddly stuff for the race this weekend: make copies, get petty cash, registration supplies, etc.
The race should be a great time.  The weather is looking to be almost perfect and the amount of help from others keeps on coming.  Nonetheless, I still stress about it.  Will be glad when it's over.

Time to go wake the kids.

Out.
