Lots of bike stuff going on this week. All good stuff.
Starting tonight at 6:00 Kyia will be putting a MTB Skillz clinic at the North Loop. All abilities welcome. Good stuff from a super sound rider.
Tuesday and Wednesday rumor of cross practice happening at Warner Lakes have begun to surface. Hope to make something happen for myself.
Maybe a night ride of sorts (mtb or gravel) Wednesday Night.
The MMCC (Mid Minnesota Cycling Club) has it's big race at the North Loop this Sunday. This is the primary source of our money to help maintain the trails, etc. Come watch, race, support, and have fun. Racing starts around 9 and goes all day. Food and raffle for a Salsa Spearfish on site.
This race, as I'm the race director, has me pretty busy this week. I tend to put most of the work off till the end. Yep a procrastinator. Have been receiving lots of help so thanks to you guys..
Course set up will be happening Saturday sometime. Stay tuned for an official time. Take down is Sunday late afternoon...please help if you can!
If anyone wants to borrow some blowers and clear off sections of the trail that would be great as well.
Next week Thursday I head out to Colorado Springs to bike tech for Mike in his 24 Hour Championships race. And like that...Boom, it's October.
