Brown?!

 

 

Looks like some brown is creeping in on the snow depth map...great.  We still sit "ok" here in cloud town.  Skiing, surprisingly, isn't too bad...considering the conditions.  Skating is better than classic but skiing is still to be had.

The snowmobile trails have lots of exposed dirt and iced over sections.  But are actually pretty fun to bike on.  Can't imagine it's too good for snowmobiling.

Finding conditions for the Arrowhead Trail system is a bit tricky.  Most online reports claim it's poor, but they are related to snowmobilers, not bikers.  So really, I won't know till I get up there...a week from Monday the race starts!

 

Still a bit gung ho about the deep freeze coming.  I'll be getting out on the bike for sure!
