Once again Thursday morning was a bit crazy at work. People getting ready for the weekend I guess. My 9-12 shift has become 7:30-?. Being short on time at home I made a point of leaving at noon. I always feel bad for leaving chaos but so it goes in retail.
I finally got the tires replaced on the Salsa Colossal so it was the bike of choice. We headed south. St. Cloud, Becker, Monticello, Maple Lake, Fairhaven, St. Augusta, and home. Mostly roads but a bit of gravel too. The wind never seemed to be truly in my favor and the heat zapped me. I pushed it hard to get home in time for the kid's school picnic. Ahh boiled hot dogs...so appealing!
