Mid Week.

Monday night I wasn't sure I'd get a ride in but somewhat last minute I had about 2 hours free time. I met Jim near Onyx and we were on our way to do a County Road 8 Loop. Jim on his Seven Evergreen and I on my Cross Check.  Skinny(er) Tires!

The Ride.

Tuesday we had conferences scheduled (later canceled due to the school hosting caucus) for Harper in the evening so I got up early to get a ride in once I got Harper up and fed.  I took the fat bike down to Sand Prairie as the days of riding down there are dwindling.  With the freeze thaw we have going on it wasn't too bad.  The back section, bumpity bump, I haven't ridden for a long time as we had too much snow and no one was walking back there.  I still check it out every time I go down there and this time it looked like I should give it a go.
The far south section of Bumpity Bump.  You can see there isn't much of a trail so it was rough and slow, but oddly fun.  I was also able to ride, sometimes, on the smooth snow as it had a thick crust.

After hitting everything up at SP I headed up to the North Loop and Fred Park and home.  A bit over 2 hours.  Being able to start the day with a ride is so good.  Looking forward to summer when this becomes a more regular event.

Row, row time.
