Rides.

Having worked Saturday and having more than enough staff on I took Monday off.  Plus I may end up working this coming Saturday too.
While not warm the sun was out in full force.  The wind, unfortunately, was out of the NW.  Not wanting to do a similar route as my ride home from Little Falls on Sunday I headed east some then north.  Turns out I went a bit more east than I anticipated but it was all good.  The NW wind was bit more W/NW later in the day so I had more of a headwind but still fun.  The route ended up being a pretty even mix of pavement and gravel.  Perfect for the Evergreen.

The Ride.

Tuesday I got up early and out the door before 6 to get a ride in before work.  Dang it was chilly.  I took the Cutthroat as it's the only bike I have that's using MTB pedals.  I needed to wear my warmer 45Nrth Ragnorok cycling boots.  Yeah, it was below freezing at the start!  The sun was out again though and made a huge difference.  The wind was under 2 mph at the start so I went wherever I wanted.  I headed down county road 8, making several loops off it, coming back on Franklin.  Man Franklin is in rough shape.  The road is one big washboard.  The minimum maintenance section was probably the best!  Sandy sure but smooth.

Morning Ride.

The rain today is coming later.  Fingers crossed we get it, we really could use it.  The back section of the North Loop got opened up so I'm hitting that up this morning before work.  Got to check it out!

Happy Mid Week.
