Summer Ain't Done Yet.

The heat and humidity of the weekend has pushed into the week.  I went out with Toby just before 5 this morning and it's already thick and warm.  Summer is putting up a fight.  Sounds like Thursday a cold front will be moving in.  Maybe that will be the end of these nasty days.  I'm hoping for a nice fall, my favorite season.

Yesterday we had an East wind so I thought about doing the Briggs Lake Loop but wanted some gravel.  I ended up heading North a tad before heading East on gravel.  I usually will work my way over to County Road 3  and head back West on it but meandered a bit and found more gravel and avoided 3 all together.  Solid ride.

The Ride.

I always ride (day or night) with rear lights and a radar.  I've recently added a front flashing light as well.  Yesterday I had to up the power to a full on light.  It's dark out at 5:30!  This has me excited for night rides.  Both on gravel and dirt.  Needs to get a bit cooler to keep the bugs at bay some.

Heading out for the Mini Dirt Bag this morning...unless I change my mind down County Road 8.  It happens!
