Circles.

Not much to report on weekend riding.  Both days I kept to the local trails.  The temperature was much warmer than the previous weekend of riding.  Saturday I did a bit over 4 hours at Friedrich and the North Loop.  Sheepishly I admit that a bunch of that time was spent doing laps on .3 and Doom's Return.  Normally I'm not a fan of lap riding but doing these shorter sections, over and over, has become a bit cathartic. Weird, I know, but I'll take it.

Sunday we were slotted for a dusting of snow.  It started to snow as I was getting ready to roll out for a ride.  That dusting turned into an all day, albeit light, snow.  Guessing somewhere from 2-3" total.  I started my ride out on the South Side trails (River Bluffs).  With a warm up this week I figured I'd hit up the River one more time.  On my return I ran into Aaron.  We rode together for the next 45 minutes or so.  It was nice to get caught up.  It must have been Fat Bike Day in St. Cloud.  I ran into no less than 10 other riders!  New snow and mild temps helped get people out I'm sure.

After hitting all the trails I headed back over to the North Loop for my Zen session on .3 and Doom's Return, ha!  Ended with a bit over 3 hours.  Giving me a solid week of riding.  I also managed to get 3 times in on the rower with core and other exercises tossed in as well.

The rest of Sunday was spent dismantling the plumbing of our kitchen sink, disposal, and dishwasher to find why our air gap was leaking.  Reassembled, ran a load, no more leaking!  Grocery store, shoveling, muffin making, vacuuming and gearing up for another week of living.

Today we are flirting with 40 degrees.  I contemplated riding gravel today.  I finally, with the help of Matt from work, got the All City Nature Boy (canti brake version) assembled and ready to roll.  However with all the snow my plans may be swapped out for some more time at Sand Prairie.  Decisions.  I got some new fenders for the Nature Boy that seem more robust and less prone to rattling than my previous versions.  Excited to try them out.  Soon.

Happy Week.
