Tonight was a hot and steamy group ride. All in all it wasn't that bad. The hard efforts definitely hurt more and the heart rate stayed elevated. Nobody dropped dead so it was a good ride.
For the first time in 4 years I put a computer on my bike today. Nothing fancy, just the basics. It is nice to know the ride time and the mph while pulling so I can maintain the speed when it's my turn.
During the ride Jim and Matt kept telling me to do the St. Cloud Crit, the State Championship, this Sunday...instead of Mankato. I like Crits but like mtb races since it is easier to remain anonymous. I should do pretty well in the crit but just want to have fun and not worry about my placing. Ugh. Maybe I'll just be lazy.
