Sorry Zoe.
Didn't make it snowshoeing. My snowshoes are in the Rocketbox on top of Jen's car. I decided to take the Pugs out and just cruise. I headed down the Beaver Island trails. I decided to continue on to the snowmobile trails starting in St. Augusta. The trails sucked. Very slow and a lot of work. Back on the road I decided to ride the cty road 8 loop backwards! Overall it was pretty good. Crossing the Mississippi on hwy 24 was a bit nerve racking but that was about it. In the summer on a road bike and 120 psi I do that loop in about 1 hour 15 minutes or so. With a winter bike and 12 psi it took me a tad over 2.5 hours. I did have a couple extra miles from my summer route but wow.

Not related at all but check this out. This will give you an idea to the type of MTBing we have out here. The video doesn't do it justice what so ever but you get the idea, 3min or so of descending through a canyon revine and about 5min of climbing. up some fire roads/singletrack. Oh and don't for get the cactus and sand.
