Recap.

Friday through Sunday were a blur. Lots going on...and fast. But it was all good. I had a good weekend.

Friday I went out for another recon mission ride of the upcoming Dirt Bag Ride. The course is coming together and all the "bits and pieces" are falling into place. I was pretty giddy at work!
Saturday morning I helped Jen and Kate get the garage sale set up. People started to show up a half hour early. Pretty much when chaos was about to happen I bolted for the gym. Garage sale people are nuts! For Sat-Sun they netted about $1000! Sweet.

I worked Saturday. While it tends to slow down this time of year at the shop we were pretty consistent. We sold a handful of bikes, most likely do to the warm weather. The Nordic skis are out but no lookers on an 80 degree day!
I was also able to squeeze some time in to switch parts over from my Cross Check to an All City. Dr. Imholte and I kind of did a frame swap of sorts. So far reports from the bike are awesome. I love the ride.

Sunday I was off from work. Again will garage sale setup help, then out the door for a ride. I hooked up with the Anderson's for an escort ride out of town. They were on a mini tour to Duluth. About 1.5 hours in a bid farewell and headed home. Great ride on a great bike. Back home I filled some 20 bags with leaves, ugh. I know it's early but I need to mow. Damn Oaks...I love you in the summer and hate you in the fall.

Below are some pictures from the weekend, in no apparent order.

Mr. Amo greeting us (Anderson's and I) as we were leaving town.

The "green" steeds all ready to roll.

On Friday's ride I encountered this sign. A first for me. I dig it.

On the way home I ran into a the Clearwater grader heading out. He turned onto one of the gravel roads in the Dirt Bag, that really needs it. All is looking good!
The Dirt Bag has about 10 spots left! Pretty stoked on the numbers. Brian ran the course on Map My Ride. It showed about 76 miles, perfect.
Later.

that all-city frame is DOPE

oh, and I think that gravel road sign should be the logo for your dirtbag ride... just a diamond yellow and black sign with a simple "dirtbag" under it...

trust me, I'm a professional.
