Not a bad weekend to have off work. The warmer weather has decided to hang on just a bit more!
I had hoped to do the MN State Cyclocross Singlespeed Championship race but family stuff came up. I was only half wanting to do it so all is good. Avery and I spent Saturday morning coloring like mad. Once our hands hurt we went to the gym for a bit. Back home the coloring commenced. Later that day Jen and I got out for a 40 minute trail run. We don't get to do much like this together so it was super fun. The Mississippi is crazy high. We had to detour some of the trail as it was underwater. I haven't seen that even in the spring for a long time. The day continued with leaf raking and bagging. Exciting.
I went to bed early and got up early. With daylight savings ending I got and extra hour! I like nine hours of sleep. It doesn't happen too often.
I was out the door by 7 on the single speed All City Nature Boy. The plan was to ride 3-4 hours of gravel and pavement. I didn't have a route I was married too so I went where I wanted. I decided coffee in Monticello would be good...and it was. From there I hit up parts of the Dirt Bag course. I ended up with a bit past 5 hours. I had a really good time.
Next was finalizing the yard work. Cleaned the gutters, mowed the backyard, pulled the garden, and leveled the garden. That's it no more yard work till spring!
Tonight is the Monday Night MTB Ride. Bearing any front der. blowups, I will be there. Should be awesome weather.
Later.

I just looked at ATWRay's blog and the cover photo is very interesting. Ben with a shirt/tie, construction jacket, ear warmers and a foot long uncooked sausage. There's gotta be a good story there.
