Not Today.

I hoped to ski this morning for a couple of hours before work but that's not going to happen. Avery is still sick, so she's staying home from school again. Jen's taking the day off but has to run into school to make sure the building doesn't collapse while she's gone!
The way it looks I will be able to ski when we get back from Florida, not that I will want to. Something like 6" or more is predicted for next week, with a bit below normal temps. A year ago we hit 60 degrees by mid March...damn.
However, daylight savings begins on the 13th this year! Group rides here we come, snow or no snow, it's time to cowboy up...whatever that means.

Still hoping for a 3 hour ride tomorrow, but if poor Avery is sick again I'm sure it will be my turn to stay home. Just hope she kicks this before we fly out on Friday.

I sold my first hybrid at the shop yesterday! It's always a positive sign, more so than Puxatony (sp?) Phil, when the hybrids start to sell...Spring is near!
With us actually "having" a winter this year, seemingly not ending anytime soon, in addition we have unstable and high gas prices I think we will see an onslaught of bike repairs and sales once the weather does start to cooperate. Bring it.

Perusing the Internet this morning, as I always do, I found some sweet races in central Florida. I wasn't looking at Florida because I will be there, it just happened that way. Anyway, they have a 300 mile stage mtb race this week, awesome. They also have a 100 mile gravel race in January, even more awesome. Oh to have my own private jet. I will need to sell many more hybrids!

Later.
