Grrrr.

The weather gave me false hope (stupid Pandora and her box of evils). The all day rain never produced yesterday and in fact the evening turned into a beautiful night.
Maybe the Summer Solstice 100 will happen! Maybe the weather missed us.
NOPE.
Currently it's drizzling and WINDY.
All day rain and storms predicted, actually predicted through Thursday afternoon. Some reports state up to 3" of rain.
Damn.
I think it's time to pave the North Loop. I have yet to be out mountain biking. I know there have been opportunities but those times have not aligned with the times that work for me. I have the Salsa Selma Ti all built and pretty, just sitting at the shop, waiting to spin the tires...soon.

Kind of a crazy week here at the Doom household. Jen takes off for a conference in California tomorrow thru Monday. I still work so the kids will hop around between the grandparents. I may be dropping the kids off at the in-laws on Thursday. They live somewhat near the Hillside Trails in Elk River so I hope to hit those up on my way home. That area tends to hold water better than most trails...but I'll play it by ear.
Maybe mountain biking was meant for the fall.

About 25 spots remain for the Dirt Bag Ride. Check the roster to see if you're in. I will be sending out confirmation emails once it fills. Come and get it.

Later and Out.
