Summer Solstice 100.

Get ready.
This coming Tuesday, 6/21, is the Summer Solstice 100 ride. We're leaving an hour earlier, 4:30 not 5:30, to accommodate the added mileage. Be prepared for 20-22 mph average. If the weather cooperates it will be a great time.

Wow! Taking a few days off the bike really brings back the legs. I did get out for my ride yesterday and ended up with 4 hours 15 minutes. I had the time, and the legs, body, and mind wanted more so I just went. It was one of those rides that I wasn't too excited for but once I was going I just wanted to keep going. But work I must so an all day ride I didn't do!
Today I work as well so just some gym time this morning.
Sunday I have off. Jim and I are planning to bike to Stillwater, 92 miles, then watch the Nature Valley crit race. However, Jen (my ride home) woke up in the middle of the night with a fever and isn't feeling too hot. So not 100% sure about tomorrow. We'll have to wing it and see.

Out.
