Trail work at the North Loop last night was a huge success. Nine people showed up to battle the mosquitoes, ticks, downed trees, and overgrown grass. All the down trees were removed and most of the course mowed, all important areas were hit. We will still need to walk the course and trim the low over hanging branches but a very good start! Lots of new faces last night, which is awesome to see. Stay tuned for next trail work night...find a way to make yourself not so "busy" and come whack some stuff.
I'm going to head out for a road ride in a bit. I don't have a route or length of ride in mind, but rather just going to cruise and see what happens. I work at noon so until then I'll be on the road somewhere.
I'd say the Dirt Bag is about half full! So keep the postcards coming if you want in. Check out the blog here if you need info.
