A Candle Burning At Both Ends.

Glad I stayed home Tuesday and got a jump on painting our Family Room. Actually didn't take too long so I got up early Wednesday, 5 am, and put on the second coat. All done! Now the more handy guy can come in and put on the edging, etc to hide my mistakes. Next Tuesday the carpet gets installed and then the huge ass couch gets delivered. Both Jen and I are ready to have our house back! The state of chaos that our house is in mimics how I feel at work...riding is my only reprieve. But currently not happening as often in attempts to minimize the chaos.
Yep, spring time in the bike world! That, and a nesting, pregnant wife! Could happen in 3 weeks...crazy. Yeah, yeah I know...that's when the real chaos will begin.

After I painted yesterday and got the kids to school I did head out for a ride. It was misting most of the ride but nothing serious. By the end I was pretty soaked but actually kind of enjoyed it. Hit up both pavement and gravel. The gravel was soft but not gooey. The Fargo was a champ! Ended right on 3 hours.
Really want to ride today as well but time just isn't there. Working a long shift today, 9-8, which our Ace mechanic, Dr. Imholte, has been doing for the past several days, that guy rocks! We have a community education class tonight from 6-8 on basic bicycle maintenance. I always enjoy doing it, but usually March isn't this busy.
So I'm either going to go for a run or hit the trainer in the basement for and hour before it's time to get the kids rolling.

On your marks, get set, go...

Later.

Truly I'm not complaining. Super glad to be busy. The blog is an outlet for me, so just letting out!
