It's been awhile since I did a trail run. Time and the schedule of events yesterday favored a run, so it's what I did.
Almost perfect weather for a run. Cloudy, no wind, light rain, and moderate temperatures. I hit up a lot of the mtb trails on the SE side. Riverside, Talahi woods, St. Benedict Center, Balto's Dog Loop, and The North Loop. Ended with 1.5 hours. Felt pretty good. The calves are pretty tight this morning. The left knee started to hurt a bit at work last night too. It was a long day and I was standing, doing repairs and/or our community education class for most of it. Feels fine this morning. Gotta love arthritis!
I meet with Tim, at Rejuv, this morning for my weekly session. I'm pretty stiff right now so it should be interesting! Mentioned before, but my goal for going to Rejuv is to help limit, if not remove, my lower back pain while riding long distance. I really feel it is working! Still have a bit to go, but definitely going in the right direction. I have become more limber too! I can touch my hands flat on the ground with straight legs! Loosen those hamies!
9-noon shift today. Hope to get out on the bike for a bit after. Saturday another "hill" group ride leaves the shop around 8. I haven't been able to make one of these yet. Tomorrow is the same, working.
Sunday is an off day from work so I will ride, just not too sure when and or what. Lot's of rearranging of furniture so the carpet can get installed on Tuesday. House projects are almost done!
Out.
