Last Weekend as a Family of Four!

It's only been a couple days since my last post but feels a week of stuff and life has happened.  Well maybe not that much, I am just plain 'ol tired too.

Wednesday I took the Fargo out in the morning for some gravel fun.  I thought it was going to be a cool, wet ride.  It was somewhat at the start but later I was down to just jersey and bibs.  Rode in the SAS (Search and State) jersey and jacket.  Thus far I am pretty damn pleased with the product.  Kudos guys.
Ended with 3 hours.  Rode a lot of roads I've not ridden in a bit.  Legs and I felt great.  On to work where the rest of the day flew by.  Lots of "shit tossing" in the back shop, fun night!

Thursday I worked 9-noon.  Hit the gym up in the morning.  Warmed up on the ARC Trainer (elliptical) and did several reps of snatches (with a 35lb kettlebell).  I wish I knew more but man what a great workout.  Kind of destroyed my hands a bit, but nothing crazy bad.  Totally got the endorphins going.  I was suppose to have a 2:45 Dr. appointment.  Called to confirm and they lost my time and appointment.  Ugh.  So instead of going for a swim I went home to prep dinner and clean, while I waited for the nurse to call back.  Actually worked out well.  Got in at 1:30.
Back home finished dinner prep, ate when the family arrived home, met Mr. Anderson for at MTB ride at the loop, took the kids to DQ and bed.  A good day.

The North Loop is riding awesome.  I am loving the single speed Salsa Ti Selma.  I have some Bontrager tires on that I love.  Roll well and hook up on everything.  Just wish they were a bit wider.  I haven't found that sweet spot for air psi.

Still not 100% sure on what will happen for me regarding the Almanzo weekend.  Hope to nail that down next week.  I'm cool with whatever.
Sent a postcard to Ron's home state of NE.  Gravel Worlds are in Lincoln Aug. 18th.  I don't think I have any obligations at that point, but damn if I haven't screwed that up a lot this year!

Hitting the pool up this morning for a short workout.  Charging the lights.  Thinking about a night gravel ride, but then again, may just chill on the couch and watch a movie.  If nothing happens this weekend we are getting induced Monday morning. We're having this baby one way or the other.

Out.

Good luck! I am not sure who will go thru a tougher time, me or your wife.
