Dont' Forget the Chamois Cream.

Let the early mornings begin...along with the riding!
Meeting at Mike's house at 5:30.  Believe that a few others will be there too.  Plan is to ride somewhere between 6-7 hours at a average pace.  It's about time in the saddle, not distance and speed.  The tentative plan is to head up to Little Falls and over to Swanville/Grey Eagle.  From there we'll meander on home.

Tomorrow morning the car leaves at 5 am for a day of mountain biking in Duluth.  I truly don't know what to expect.  Mike is the leader so I'm just following him!  He said we should get close to 100 miles.  That should be about 10 hours of riding...I'm so ready and game!

Stayed late last night at work to get the mountain bike ready...still not done.  Riding the Salsa Selma Ti single speed.  Put on the SID 29er fork and attempted to put on some XTR disc brakes.  The rear interface on the Selma however interferes with the mounting of the brake...that and the housing is about 12" too long so I'll have to bleed it.  Freaked out and left.  Most likely will put the Hopes back on for now.  I love the Hopes but have not been able to remove all the rubbing up front and the stopping power isn't awesome.  Too bad I can't use linear pull brakes...I kid.  Something to be said for some Avid BB 7's however.  Super solid brake.

Gotta go get ready.

Out.
