My activity level was pretty blah this weekend.
I worked both Saturday and Sunday, we also had family over to see Harper and celebrate Avery's Birthday. That, and the weather wasn't the best. So I pretty much did nothing...oh wait I did eat a lot! But that's the way it goes. Going into this week, which seems forever ago, I prepared myself that exercise would be limited and the food would be plentiful. It was and it was good (or that's what I tell myself so I don't do the freak out thing).
I am more than ready to get back at it, and today is the day. Getting a ride in this morning. Still not sure what and for how long, etc. Most likely a gravel mix for 3-4 hours. Food consumption will be monitored again. Nothing zealous but just better. I am cutting sweets out for a week or so to somewhat clean the 'ol system out. Well gels, shot bloks, and bars on the bike don't count! It's the cookies, etc. at work and the ice cream at home that need a bit of a break!
On average I get up once maybe twice with Harper during the night. But that is enough to give my routing a good shake up. I can't even fathom how Jen feels or does it! I've been hitting snooze a bit too much lately. That too has to change. Need my morning time!
