Having fun on the bike, tha's what it's all about. Keeping it fun!
A short stint at the shop this morning then Jen, Harper, and I are off to Nevis. Tomorrow will be my 3rd time doing the Northwoods Triathlon. I always have fun doing it. So much in fact that I plan to do more tri events the following year, swim more, etc. Not how it goes. I did swim this winter at the gym but never made it out to Warner Lake this spring and summer to swim with the locals...and I still have only done the Nevis Tri! I feel the most ill prepared this year, but maybe that's because I'm now expecting to match or beat my previous times. The past two years I have improved my time and maintained 13th overall. Hope to do the same, but damn it's just for fun. Why can't I keep it that way?! I have also had the 2nd fastest bike the past 2 years just behind the overall winner...dude is fast. I don't have arrow wheels this year so there's my excuse!
Nope...it's going to be fun and actually looking forward to it. Weather is great.
Time to go test out the arrowbars.
