Got the kids to school and daycare and on the bike by 7:45 yesterday morning. Did the good 'ol standby of county road 8 to the Dirt Bag course where I shook my teeth for a few hours. Dry and rutted out. Need some rain!
Then it was off to work where it was somewhat slow all day until the last hour and a controlled chaos of customers and phone calls came in.
Raced home to change into bike clothes, kiss the kids, high 5 the wife, strap lights on the Pugs, and race over to the North Loop.
Wasn't feeling the excitement to ride so decided on the way over 1 lap would do.
Charlie, Matt R., Josh, and I were the sole riders. Turned out to be a perfect group.
The trail just had a great flow to it last night. For those that know the North Loop and my riding ability know that flow and the North Loop usually don't go together unless "lacking" is in the statement somewhere!
Had so much fun the first lap decided I needed to do another. The second was just as fun. Could defiantly tell I was loosing some of the mojo towards the end. Perfect time to call it.
Home around 10:00...much better than 12:30!
I had so much damn fun on that ride! Thank guys.
We need rain out there too. Flipping dust storm for the guys in back!
