Home!

Got home last night sometime around 1:00 am, which I guess makes it this morning.  Jen's alarm was going off way too early.  I'm more tires than I thought I would be.  I guess 14 hours of sleep for the past three nights will do that.  I work at noon today so I thought a ride would be in order.  Now I'm not too sure!

Colorado and Mike's race, 24 Hour National Championship, has become a blur.

Thursday afternoon I flew into Colorado Springs.  I met up with Mike and his family at a campsite.  We all cruised around a bit on bikes to stretch the legs.

Friday we packed up and headed back into town to get Mike all checked in at Accent Cycling.  Then it was lunch and to the race course to secure our spot.  Once that was done Mike and I did a quick preview of the course were I proceeded to crash and skin my leg pretty good.  See the pic in previous post.  For a Midwesterner like myself that was a pretty technical course.
Off to dinner then bed.

Saturday was race start day.  Mike and I spent the morning getting his bikes and gear ready.  Then it was a wait till noon and go time.

More later.

Gotta figure out what I'm doing.

Out.
