Is It Cold?

Jimmy, Lance, and I jumped out of Cloud around 4 yesterday to the Cities for some Tuesday Night Cross action.  It wasn't terribly cold but the wind sure made it feel like it.  I signed up for the 35+ and the 1,2,3 race...back to back.
The course was nothing special but that is one of the neat things of cross...doesn't take much to make a fun course.
During my first race I kept thinking I wouldn't be able to do the next race: I was gassed and my lower back was starting to hurt.  At the finish Jimmy said we were doing it and that was that!  No rest, right to the start to go again.  Actually felt pretty good.  Riding the long hours I usually do, it takes me awhile to warm up.  2-3 hour cross races?!
Not too sure how I ended up, results are not up yet.  I feel I did a bit better than last weekend, but we'll see.
The All City Nature Boy worked flawlessly again.  Love that bike.
Afterwards we hit up Pizza Luce with some others and busted back to cloud.

Thinking of a 3 or so hour ride this morning before work at noon.  I know it's not "that" cold but I'm not used to the weather yet so it has me being somewhat of a ninny.  While the Arrowhead is much, much colder the mindset it there and it isn't a problem.  With time it will come.

Signed up for the Minnesota Cross Championships last night too!  They do call ups and one of the ways is in order of registration.  I'm doing the single speed race so hoping for a bit better spot than dead last!

Later.
