Pusing the Bike.

As the picture above shows, yesterday's ride was a lot of walking.  I was done with work a bit after 12.  Got home, changed, and loaded up the car to drive North of town to Molitor's Quarry Bar and Grill.  They have a snowmobile trail heading into their parking lot.  As soon as I jumped on the trail I was walking.  The wind was ridiculous.  I could feel it catch any part of my bike and push it sideways.  I jumped on the road for a bit till the trail veered North, leaving the road behind.

I ended up riding 3 hours, or being out 3 hours.  I'd guess I walked/post holed over and hour.  While at times it sucked, as riding is more fun, I kept thinking if I every want to consider the ITI in Alaska I need to embrace this!

I work at noon today so thinking about a ride but daycare is closed.  My parent's are taking Harper but I'll let her sleep till she wakes up.  Depending on time will depend on my ride!

Still looking at Saturday afternoon for a long ride.
Plan on doing a 4-4.5 hour loop out of St. Joseph.  If I, and others, wish to go longer we can but this will be a great loop for a 4 hour stint.

Later.
