Monday and Tuesday afternoons/evenings are our most hectic. Gymnastics, swimming practice, swim meets, homework, etc. Toss is some rain and I was off from riding those days. Turns out Harper is a bit under the weather. Nothing serious, maybe even just lack of sleep, but I'm home with her today...she's still sleeping! Once my parents get home from the cabin I'll head into work for my evening shift. Three days without riding?! Life.
It appears as the rest of the week should be good weather and less hectic. Well we have a wedding Saturday and a family Twins game Sunday, but I'll sneak some rides in. Next week will be pretty chill too as that Saturday is the Spotted Horse Ultra 200.
October is right around the corner. Several races, for next year, have announced registration opens up in October. Ugh...time to think and plan for next year already! I hope to do more mountain bike races next year. Yes some MN Series Marathon events but others too. Chequamegon 100, Lutsen 99 (maybe), Marji Gesik...
Don't forget the Dirt Bag is October 15th. Walk up registration is encouraged. Great event with great people and food. Several employees from work may do this so I may end up working, but if not I'll be there. John and his wife do a heck of great job.
