Selling and Riding Bikes.

Our Anniversary Sale (12 years!) was this past weekend.  It was a huge success!  It was pretty much non stop Friday-Sunday.  Me being me I did sneak a couple rides in.  Both Saturday and Sunday were early morning rides, on the the bike by 5:45.

Saturday I took the Evergreen on the Gillman route.  About 3 hours and 50 miles.  Sunday we open at noon so I had more time.  I had a tubeless issue with the Evergreen so I took the Cutthroat.  Unlike Saturday the wind wasn't up yet so I enjoyed an almost windless ride the first hour.  As it should be if you get up early to ride!  I basically went to East and North to Milaca.  Continued North for a bit before making the turn West and eventually South.  Tailwinds!  It was a day I wished I could keep going but work duty lingered.  4 hours 42 minutes and 86 miles.

A few of us at work commented we thought Sunday may be slower as it was gorgeous out, after a windy and dreary Saturday.  We couldn't have been more wrong.  What a day.  Zoom and we were done.

I could stand another hour of sleep or so!  No riding tonight of much this week for that matter.  Le Gran du Nord is this coming weekend.
Trail work tonight at the North Loop!  Come help if you can.  We are taking back Granny Hill and getting the course ready for the race on June 3rd.

Time to start Monday.
