Rain?!

Yesterday it was supposed to rain, starting in the early afternoon into Wednesday.  Usually I loathe rain but we really need it and I planned my riding around it.  I got up early on Tuesday and got a ride in on the Dirt Bag.  Jim of Onyx had the same idea and we ran into each other on Huber.  50 miles in before 8:30.  Even on the ride it looked dark to the west at times, but by rides end it cleared and was a blue bird day.

The threat of rain was always around but kept getting pushed back with a reduction in our chances for rain.  It totally missed us.  It's like winter and snow all over again!  Silver lining is the mtb trails will be good to go.  Maybe an easy spin tonight after work.

Yesterday was also Brinna's 17th Birthday!  17!  After my ride I went to Backwaters Bakery and got some goodies for breakfast and treats for work.  We have a small backyard gathering planned for Thursday with grandparents to help celebrate her day.

Time to finally turn in my taxes, later.
