Few Miles and Fair Food.

Not an exciting week for riding.  I'm keeping the mileage down this week but still getting out.  Wednesday ending up being a no ride day.  Washed out in the morning and that afternoon we had a heat advisory warning.  Wasn't feeling that!

Thursday I had to run some errands in the morning but got out around noon.  I swapped out cranks and got the Evergreen back up and running.  With the W/NW wind I headed up the river road to 450th (gravel) street.  I took that till it ran out and made my way home.  I as pretty blah at the start but an hour in I was feeling good.

The Ride. 

That evening we went over to the mall parking lot for some shaved ice.  Since there are not any fairs happening some vendors have set up for the summer in the lot.  We may have split a bucket of fries too.  Followed by a walk around Lake George.

I'm out of my routine for getting up early and riding.  A bit of a struggle this morning.  Nonetheless I should be on the bike before 6.  And get this...I'm riding my road bike!  For the first time since last summer!
