Moving Boxes and Pushing Pedals.

Yesterday I took the day off from work to help a friend move some stuff from his attic. He paid the older two girls (Brinna and Avery) and I worked for pizza.  Many trips up and down flights of stairs were made.  I was pretty much a sweaty, dusty mess at the end.  During one of the many trips up the steps I thought I may ski rpiding for the day.  But back at home laying in the grass I decided it was too nice not to ride.

I biked out to the start of the Dirt Bag on the Cutthroat. Jen drove out with her Cutthroat and we rode 20 miles of the Dirt Bag together.  Back at the start she loaded up and went home.  I headed back out, but basically made my way home.
While not nasty like the weekend it was definitely warm enough.

The Ride.

This morning I awoke at 4:50, 10 minutes before my alarm.  As I lay there I heard the low rumble of thunder.  Checked my phone and it looked like rain.  Damn. Rolled over and went back to sleep. Up at 6 and it looks similar, with wet streets, but the chance of rain is less.  I've been duped by this before.  I'm heading in to work early to get some stuff done and hopefully work on one of my bikes.  Maybe I'll ride this afternoon but we are in a heat advisory so we will see how I feel at days end.
