Snow?!

I'm a snow lover.  I get stupid excited when it snows.  But in season.  It's too early.  Snow we get now is just a tease and a mess.  It will eventually melt. I don't have an exact number but guessing 6" of heavy, wet snow fell yesterday.  If this was mid November I'd be giddy.  I'm just annoyed now.

Yesterday morning I got out early to bag some miles before the snow.  Again on the Cutthroat and parts of the Dirt Bag course.

It's that time of year that we lose chunks of daylight every week.

Monday it had rained/snowed most of the day but never hard.  The paved roads were mostly dry but the gravel was a bit messy is spots.  The bike got a bit dirty.
The Ride.

The snow started to fall as I pulled into our driveway.  By the time I headed to work it was sticking to surfaces.  Mid afternoon it looked like this:
OK, I lied this gets me a bit excited.

We got more snow that anticipated and it's sticking around better than I thought it would.  The streets are a mess so I'm skipping riding this morning.  I wasn't going to shovel but I'll tackle parts of that instead.  Depending how things looks this afternoon I may try to get the fat bike ready and head to Sand Prairie to bop around on.  Mostly to beat down the grass and create a loop in the back sections that people don't walk.
More snow is predicted throughout the rest of the week with now really warm up.  Maybe I'm wrong but this will melt.
