Mid February brings my annual pilgrimage to Madison, WI to see all the goodies for the next winter season, (nordic skis, waxes, clothing, etc.). It's actually a pretty good show and goes by fast. Today I have appointments from 8-7 then back in the car for 6 hours. I used to love a good road trip, but now I struggle to stay awake. Thus I have to use all my tricks to stay awake: dill flavored sunflower seeds, gum, hard candy, way too much soda, and good music. The trip down was uneventful and pretty smooth. Hoping for the same tonight.
Last night and this morning I took advantage, for the first time ever, of the hotels fitness room. It actually wasn't too bad. The fact that it was about 80 degrees in the room kind of sucked but sweating is good. It helped me remove all the toxins I put into my system on the way down.
Time to gel up my hair and head on over.
Later.
