Weekend.

Friday Brian and I rolled out of the shop at 7:30 am. The day before was sunny, warm, and calm. Our ride was cloudy, chilly, and windy...blah. The wind was out of the NW so we started out the same as the last time we rode together.
Inadvertently it turned into somewhat of a hill ride. That's ok, hills are good...sometimes. Of course, at the end of the ride the skies cleared and the temps rose. Overall it was a good ride. A bit over 3 hours followed by standing on my feet for 9 hours wrenching on bikes. Damn have the repairs come in!

Saturday I broke my own rule of only running once a week. I just didn't want to get up early to ride the trainer or even outside. Don't get me wrong, I would have loved to ride but just not having to get up at 5 to do so. I've been getting about 6 hours of sleep but need a bit more sometime to catch up. So instead I went outside for an hour run. Did some of the trails, which were still snow covered but would be pretty nice for mtb if hit when it was still cold out. Ran the ski trails at the North Loop too. Not sure on the distance but an hour of pain free running is good for me.
Saturday was another gloomy day outside but not at the shop. The 8 hour day flew by. Tons of people in buying bikes or bringing in bikes for repairs! I've now claimed my spot in the back shop...mechanic Ben. Oh how I have missed wrenching on bikes. I have some sweet photos to post, of some of the bikes we were working on yesterday, but forgot the connector cord at work. Later those will be up.
Today at 8 a few of us are hoping to get a ride in but currently it's raining. Waiting till 7 to make the call. It's either outside or inside, I'm riding either way. I'm hoping for outside.

Later.
