Friday: Short day at work. Met some riders at work, loaded up the super van, and headed to St. Paul to meet up with some more team riders. I wasn't sure how many would make it, but being an early Friday afternoon I didn't think too many. Pretty stoked when we rolled out almost 20 riders strong! Not too sure on the route, but we did start in St. Paul, went through Afton Alps area, and ended in St. Paul for about 80 miles. Encountered several rollers. Nice riding out there. The start/finish was at Ray's house. We had a spaghetti feed waiting for us at the end. Great way to end a great ride.
I wasn't "feeling it" on the ride. The legs never came around. Still had a good time.
Saturday: Work day. Did an hour of "stuff" at the gym. A little bit of lifting, still feeling the aftermath! Haven't lifted in awhile. Work was crazy busy. I didn't think it would be considering the crumby weather. Wasn't a good day to overhaul a fork. Every time I was elbow deep in shock oil I had to clean up and go on the floor. A good problem.
Sunday: Did the Easter thing at home with the kids. I then kitted up and rolled out with Little Falls being the end destination. Took a round about way: Quarry Park, Bel Claire, St. Joe, 7 wonders, Schuman Lake Road, Albany, Wobegon Trail to Bowlus, Great River Road to Little Falls. Didn't have to battle the wind too much, but when I did it was fierce! Met the family in Little Falls for Easter fixins. 3.5 hour ride.
This week I plan to detoxify my body of candy! No candy this week, ha!
Later.
