Fatbiking Again!

Sunday was awesome.
A group of us met at the St. Joseph Park-N-Ride.  While it was a big group (7) the cold temps, -15, kept more away.  The conditions were great.  The groomer had been out overnight leaving us a paved road of snow.  From the start we lost a rider due to a frozen hub.  We would eventually lose 3 more over the course of the ride.  Three of us continued on the 4 hour loop.  A rest stop half way allowed toes to warm and water topped off.  Ended with 4 hours.
It was great to get back on the bike after the Arrowhead.  I felt pretty good and am ready for more.

Yesterday I was home with two sick kids.  All are fine now but that sure changes the plans.  Jen had a Knowledge Bowl Meet too so she didn't get home till 9.  Thought about the trainer but I too wasn't feeling 100% so went to bed with the kids.
The next few days are a bit chaotic.  We're down for a bit at work with employees so were covering a couple shifts with one person.
If not this week, then I'll ride next.  It'll come.
