Yea...I got out for a ride! I met Kris and Kyia for a mountain bike ride at the Loop. We rode about an hour and they headed their own way and I continued on. Sometimes riding at the Loop it just clicks. Not so much my performance, as I went down in slick corners once or twice, but just the act of riding in circles. Sometimes to complete a full loop is an act of God while other times I feel I could keep going. Last night was such a night. I didn't put in a crazy amount of time, 2+ hours, but it flew by. I had to eventually head home to run and get Avery from gymnastics.
Today is Halloween so if I get out for a ride it'll be later, after Trick or Treating, and just a lap or so at the North Loop. Wednesday is fluctuating back and forth between a rain/snow mixture and all snow. If it's all snow I'd love to bop around on my fat bike but am hesitant to bring yet another bike to my folks place (still living here). I've already commandeered a good portion of the garage! On our housing front it looks like we should be able to move back in about a month. I'm not betting on it though. If working with construction people has taught me anything it's that a time line is a very malleable thing.
