Rest and Recovery.

The past two weeks totaled over 40 hours of fat bike riding with only one day off.  As much as I am not good at doing it, taking time off is good and needed.  I planned on taking just Monday off (wish I didn't as it was like a warm fall day) but opted for Tuesday too.

Even though we got a pittance for snow I really wanted to get out in the cold, wind, and what little snow we got.  But it's not going anywhere!  We, the family, didn't have anything planned but sometimes it's nice to just be home and hang out.  Harper and I did go to the grocery store to get Ginger Bread House making supplies for school!  Tuesday night stoke!

I do plan on riding this afternoon/evening.  I've gone back and forth whether to put my studded fat bike tires on.  Once they are on I usually just leave them on, but with no snow or moisture in the forecast I may ride gingerly a bit with the non studded tires.  But it just takes one crash to wreck the season.  Hmmm....
